Story Line: This show has always had excellent, unique action choreography, but it really excels in “Rock-A-Bye”. If you were wondering how a large-scale siege would work in a world where almost nobody can see, you have your answer. The series begins with Baba Voss (Jason Momoa) traveling into the enemy territory to save his daughter, Haniwa, from the Trivantian tribe who have captured her. His endeavor is not only perilous but also treacherous as he moves through enemy territories to get his family reunited. At the same time, Queen Kane, having survived the Kanzua's destruction, forms a new Payan capital. She makes a major declaration, seeking to unify her power and authority over her people. As Baba infiltrates the Trivantian city, he learns that his brother, Edo Voss (Dave Bautista), is in a leading role in the Trivantian army. This family discovery tacks on a personal grudge onto the already high political tensions, pitting the worlds against each other in brutal conflict. The episode also brings in Lieutenant Commander Wren, a Trivantian warrior with the unusual condition of sight like Haniwa. Her situation and interactions with Haniwa offer deeper understanding into the world's dynamics of the sighted living within a blind world. Brothers and Sisters" successfully combines action with character building, opening up the universe of the series and establishing intricate relationships that propel the season.
