Story Line: The kingdoms of Umunje and Umuorie have their planned peace treaty compromised by a selfish queen; but the gods are committed to seeing it through. The film begins with a panoramic shot of Lagos in the evening, with the cacophony of traffic and street vendors filling the air. A young lady, Amaka, is seen standing at a bus stop with her bag gripped tightly in her hand. She glances back nervously as if she has someone tailed behind her. A black SUV suddenly appears alongside her. The tinted window rolls down gradually, showing the face of an enigmatic man in a suit. Three months ago, Amaka, a third-year law student, resides with her single mother and younger brother in a small flat. Her world is turned upside down when she encounters David, a handsome and affluent young businessman, at a campus fundraiser. David charms Amaka, showering her with luxury — high-end dinners, high-priced gifts, and exclusive parties. Amaka's mother, Mama Nkechi, senses David's newfound interest in her daughter and is suspicious. She warns Amaka to be wary, but Amaka is lovesick and fascinated by the lure of David's riches.
