Story Line: Determined to make her path in life, Chinwe defies the customs and traditions cast in stone to stifle her. In the peaceful village of Umuodike, a dark prophecy resurfaces after 50 years. The village’s sacred deity, Ala-Ugo, had once warned that if the sacred staff of kingship was ever removed from its shrine, a great calamity would befall the land. When the newly crowned king, Oba Ezeanugo, defies tradition and moves the staff to his palace, mysterious deaths, infertility, and unrest begin to plague the village. A young woman, Adanna, gifted with the ability to speak to spirits, is chosen by the gods to uncover the truth. But as she digs deeper, she realizes that the problem is not just spiritual—it is linked to a dark conspiracy involving the elders, a hidden betrayal, and a powerful sorcerer who wants the throne for himself.
