Story Line: Due to that accident, Yi-Young loses her memory and Soo-Jin goes missing. Under that situation, Yi-Young regains her diving skills, but her strong desire to keep her position as a diva and Soo-Jin’s disappearance push her into madness. Yi-young (Shin Min-a) has all the talent to be a ‘Diving Diva’. She misses her best friend Soo-jin (Lee Yoo-young), so she changes her event to synchronizing swimming. During the Olympics selection practice, they are involved in a freak accident, Soo-jin disappears and Yi-young loses her memory. As she gets her memory back, she remembers the strange side of Soo-jin. She begins to lose control on the diving board. First off, the film was beautifully shot. I loved the cinematography from the start, and it set the tone well from the beginning. And mixing that with the audio it had made it that much better. I especially liked the silent moments; those brief moments of silence really built anticipation and showed that you don’t need fast-paced music to give thrill and suspense. She then became suspicious of her teammates taking drugs, while her desire to win slowly drove her into madness. It was revealed that Soo-jin had trauma of diving since the day she injured herself after receiving news of her mother being hospitalized from Yi-young. Soo-jin had blamed Yi-young of informing her of the news just before her turn, so that Yi-young could win the competition. It seemed that Soo-jin also had taken drugs so that she could overcome her fear for diving, which caused Yi-young and Soo-jin to have a fight before the accident. Soo-jin had challenged Yi-young that Yi-young would also take the drugs to regain her diva position should she also be in Soo-jin’s situation. When Yi-young saw Soo-jin’s corpse, she then regained her memories that she had pushed away Soo-jin as Soo-jin was grabbing her tightly, preventing Yi-young from swimming to the surface.
