Story Line: COBRA is back after more than 18 months off-screen, with the first season making its debut on Sky just before the coronavirus pandemic hit the UK last year. The second season has been comprised of another six episodes and stars. Johnny continues to attempt to rebuild Cobra Kai, but it is evident that things are not progressing for him. He is still entrenched in his habits, failing to relate to his students and the modern world. He also has conflict with his role as sensei and the past, specifically with the effects of his behavior on his students. Johnny tries to instruct his students on the art of "striking first," but his methods appear to be antiquated and even more violent than they once were. Johnny's difficulties in coping with his position as mentor are evident in this episode. In another part of town, Daniel is having his own problems. He is trying to find a way to reconnect with his family and his community, all the while having to negotiate his position as mentor to his own children. He becomes increasingly worried about the hold Cobra Kai has on the youth in the area, particularly with Miguel and the other kids. Robby Keene (Johnny's estranged son) begins to find his footing in this episode. Having survived the experiences of the last season, Robby is trying to get used to a new set of surroundings. He starts working with Daniel in his dealership and develops an unusual connection with him. Robby has a problematic relationship with his father and prefers the guidance offered by Daniel, creating a dynamic between the two men. Miguel, Johnny's star student, still grapples with the trials of his new life at Cobra Kai. He grapples with his own identity and with the things Johnny is trying to teach him. Miguel starts taking the Cobra Kai attitude more seriously, and that causes tension in his personal relationships, particularly with Samantha.
