Story Line: Following a high-speed car chase with the police after a thwarted sabotage mission, the trio end up seeking refuge in a South African bank in Silverton, Pretoria.

Calvin Khumalo, Terra Mabunda, and Aldo Erasmus are anti-apartheid freedom fighters, part of Umkhonto WeSizwe whose power plant sabotage mission in the capital's suburb of Silverton is thwarted as local police were tipped off. Forced to abort the mission, they flee into Silverton. They end up on foot when Terra's partner Masego and the van's tires are shot. Going through the sewage tunnels, they resurface via a manhole. Spotted by the police, they duck into a central bank.

Khumalo addresses the bank clients and employees, explaining they are not robbing it and asking they cooperate calmly so no one gets hurt. The bank supervisor Christine shows to be both helpful and sympathetic. After a failed sabotage mission, a trio of anti-apartheid freedom fighters ends up in a tense bank hostage situation. Based on a true story. While on a high-profile mission to sabotage a petrol depot, a trio of freedom fighters, Umkhonto weSizwe (MK), realize they have been set up, with police ready and waiting to arrest them. 

A fierce and deadly chase ensues which sees them seeking shelter inside a Bank. The Trio are all in agreement that someone, perhaps one of them, is an "Impimpi" -- a sell-out and police spy. The question is, whom? Pressure mounts and tension rises amongst them in the bank. All those involved have one thing in common -- a fight for freedom. As the Trio recognizes their only options are prison or death, they decide to negotiate for the release of Nelson Mandela.
