Storyline

Lightyear is a 2022 American computer-animated action-adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film is a spin-off of the Toy Story franchise and serves as an origin story for the character Buzz Lightyear, who was voiced by Tim Allen in the Toy Story films. In Lightyear, Chris Evans provides the voice of Buzz Lightyear. The movie is set in an alternate timeline from the Toy Story films, following Buzz as he embarks on an intergalactic adventure.
