The story is set during the time when the Qinghe Nie sect was dealing with their ancestral knife tomb incident. Nie Ming Jue brought Nie Huai Sang with other Nie sect disciples to restore the tomb back to its original state to ensure peace in the Nie sect. Through this, Nie Huai Sang went from a playful disciple to maturing into the next generation sect leader and Nie Ming Jue learned how to better understand his brother and helped him grow. This movie tells about the relationship of the Nie brothers, Nie Mingjue and Nie Huaisang. The story is about Nie Mingjue, Nie Huaisang, and Nie clan's disciplines going to their Sword Sacrificial hall, the Nie clan's ancestral hall for their clan's sabers. The brothers need to seal their clan's sword spirit, as it creates trouble. Despite the conflicts, they always help each other in times of danger. The brothers eventually lead the people to end the crisis and defend the peace.

When the Nie Clan of Qinghe faces the danger of the Blades Shrine, the elder brother Nie Ming Jue leads his younger brother Nie Huai Sang to fight to repair the shrine and finally protect the family. In the story, the two brothers join hands to resist difficulties. During the adventure, there are contradictions between them. Nie Ming Jue dislikes his younger brother’s timidity, and Nie Huai Sang accuses Nie Ming Jue of arbitrariness. Although there are contradictions, in the face of danger, Nie Ming Jue tries to sacrifice himself to save Nie Huai Sang and Nie Huai Sang never abandons his brother. All these help the two brothers step towards reconciliation. When the Nie family of Qinghe faces a crisis, Mingjue and his younger brother Huaisang join hands to surpass every obstacle.

Decent tomb raiding adventure, a genre niche that is incredibly popular in China right now. You can see the TV origins of this spin-off, with some poor CG in places and a concise introduction of the characters, but overall this is a fun, fast-paced, and entertaining adventure that is sure to please fans of the genre. However, the brothers are constantly at odds with Mingjue accusing Huaisang of being cowardly, and Huaisang complaining that Mingjue is arrogant and cruel.
