Despite his struggles in life, Maanav Awasthi believes that tough times won`t endure forever. But at every turn, life manages to put him in the wrong. Eventually, he makes the decision to take his own life but even this time, life snubs his plans.Maanav Awasthi (Karan Patel), who has been facing difficulties at every turn of life, gets frustrated and tries to end his life, but life does not support him here either.The film follows the story of Manav Awasthi (Karan Patel), a man who finds himself frustrated with the elusive nature of his life. From his job to his romantic prospects, nothing seems to be going his way. Just as he contemplates ending it all by jumping into a lake, he's saved in the nick of time by Jugaadu (Ashutosh Rana).
While the debut performance of TV actor Karan Patel is commendable, the film's potential remains untapped. In an era of concise storytelling and impactful narratives, 'Darran Chhoo' feels like a missed opportunity. 'Darran Chhoo' is a film that sets out with noble intentions, aiming to spark debates and discussions about life's challenges and failures and how one copes with them. However, despite its good-hearted objectives, the film falters in its execution, leaving much to be desired. Clocking in at a lengthy 134 minutes, 'Darran Chhoo' often feels like a mountain to climb, making the viewing experience arduous and challenging. 'Darran Chhoo' suffers from a lack of clever screenplay and an unnecessarily extended duration. While its intentions are admirable, the film struggles to engage its audience effectively.
Jugaadu imparts some wisdom, urging Manav to leave a lasting legacy for his family. He insists on securing life and 'death' insurance before committing suicide, yet again. Manav diligently works to ensure a secure future for his loved ones, but his efforts don't yield the expected results. As the deadline for his contemplated suicide approaches, a sudden twist in Manav's life leads him to reconsider, but backing out proves to be a challenging decision.Manav Awasthi is exhausted from life's ongoing game of hide and seek. Just as he's on the verge of committing suicide, he is rescued in the nick of time by Jugaadu. Manav receives advice to do something meaningful for his loved ones before treading on the dark path once more.
